Tucker Hill Porch Fest
Dated: May 9 2016
Tucker Hill is a Southern Land Company community located in Mckinney, Texas just north of 380 and Stonebridge Ranch.
This unique community focuses on tradition architecture, horticulture, sidewalks, parks, and open spaces. The community has a large pool area, central square and play area. You can find a variety of homes with large front porches and down home living.
A sense of community is the main focus of Tucker Hill. We had the honor of attending Tucker Hill Porch Fest, just one of many planned public community events. Check out the video below for an overview of the event. The main event featured Infinite Journey, a Journey cover band with lead singer Donovan Duke who will have you doing a double take for Steve Perry.
Does Tucker Hill seem like the perfect community for your family? Click here to search available homes. Phase 3 of Tucker Hill is also underway.
Phase 3 lots are now available!
Prices start in the upper $300k range, with some of our custom homes selling for $900k.
Our homes range in size from 1,800 square feet to over 5,000.
Lot sizes start at 41โ to well over 72โ.
A new traffic light has been installed at our main entrance at Hwy. 380 & Tremont and a new de-acceleration lane is going in to allow for traffic to slow before turning into our main entrance.
Lot designs see everything from traditional backyards that could accommodate a pool, to private courtyards for those wanting less yard-work and more time to enjoy a relaxing lifestyle.
Unlike many neighborhoods, youโll find that Tucker Hill offers a mixture of street designs that feature rear, front, detached or side-entry garages.
Architecture is a mix of styles and sizes within each block, as you might find a quaint Tudor next door to an elegant Victorian. Of course, we make sure that they complement each other and play nicely on the same street, ensuring that you donโt see the same house repeated throughout the community.
Front porches are incorporated into each housing design, to encourage interaction between neighbors.
Fiber-optic home technology and intranet creates seamless communication with the world at large, and with the neighborhood community.
At build-out, Tucker Hill will see the completion of approximately 625 housing units built on approximately 300 acres.
